Navaratri: Awakening of Shakti

Sankalpa, puja to the deities and Goddess Durga. Each morning you will gather for puja to invite all deities, the protectors of the space, and the Goddess herself into the temple, to make offerings and worship rituals for them.

Yagya. Through the sacred fire of Yagya, all our offerings and prayers in their purest form are directed directly to the Lord. The fire of Yagya purifies the heart and all our subtle layers from negativity, from our own ignorance, distortions, heavy karma and ego.

Purnahuti – The concluding great Yajna, Victory over the demon Ravana, the culmination of Navaratri. Kshetrapala Balidan – At the very end of the Yajna we will create a special offering for Kshetrapala (the guardian of the space), to express deep respect and gratitude to the invisible forces that have supported and protected us throughout the program. This rite literally seals and preserves all the blessed energy you have cultivated during the practice, closing it off from any adversity. The offering to Kshetrapala opens pathways in your life, purifies and neutralizes dark energy, grants protection to the person and his/her home, removing fears and doubts. You will carry with you a state of deep protection, peace and blessing for the realization of your intentions. Kanya Puja — an ancient Vedic ritual of worship of girls as the living embodiment of the Divine Mother.
